He thinks I passed a gallstone (see BREAKDOWNS, September 1 '06)! Zounds. I'm glad I did not know that in the ER, or I would have been a lot grumpier.
All about our inspired and half crazy decision to move from the Midwest (where we have all lived our whole lives) to San Diego. Where we have spent a collective 200 hours.

I didn't know that gall stones could be passed! Mike had a kidney stone last year and you would have thought he was in labor. They heavily sedated him until surgery, and then a social worker came and asked a ton of questions. Usually the patient has to answer, but he was OUT of it. At some point, she HAS to ask the patient if they are being abused at home. So she asks him. No response (asleep). She says, "Mike, Kelly's beating you, right?" I answered for him - "Yes", I said, "constantly". Very funny social worker. Who would have thought?
I love it. Yes the smaller ones can be passed, but I would not recommend it.
We always knew you had a lot of gall... hahahaha
