Don says that Cop Beauty Pageant Michele doesn't count as a real Michelle Edelman because she married into the name... do you agree?
I don't agree... I think she is a TRUE Michelle Edelman because she has taken on the identity. It's her name. People say, hey Michelle Edelman, and she turns around.
What do YOU think?!

Don does have a point, and plus she only has one "L" in her name.
BUT, you are right, she still counts. Add her to the invitation list with the violinist and the other one (was she an intern at a radio station or something?)
There is an Alison Edelman who is an OBGYN in Oregon, I think.
Hey, guess what?! I looked 'er up - the other Alison Edelman is an OBGYN in Portland, and get this, she is actually ALISON BETH EDELMAN! I'm going to dig up her e-mail somehow and get in touch. It is too funny!
Two years ago I e-mailed the writer of a children's book whose main character is Zachary Zimbalist (the book is "The Rune of Zachary Zimbalist") and she and I e-mailed a bit and she sent me autographed copies of her book. Maybe the other A.B.E. can hook me up with some free metformin or something...
Yeah! The more Michel(l)e Edelmans, the merrier! That's what I think!
What you all don't realize is that your Dad and I had several sets of twins to which we gave identical names. Then, because we were overwhelmed with so many children, we allowed other couples to raise the siblings. Now, years and years later, because you are such inquisitive creatures, you have found your family. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I guess it wouldn't be nice if I asked how our twins got to be the lucky ones :)
Luck of the draw!!
It counts. It's her name, after all. Tell Don that if he found out that he used to be Don Jones, but his name was changed to Don D later, would he think his name didn't count? It's who he is now, no matter who he used to be? As someone who's not only taken her hubby's last name, but as someone who's hubby has an adopted name that's completely different that what his name was as a child, I say it counts. It's like saying that Becca doesn't count as a Becca because she used to be a Natalia.
I'm with Kelly. Good point about Becca! Don can't argue with that one!
By the way, the other A.B.E. didn't write me back. Biotch!
